Best Sephora Products: Skincare, Makeup, Haircare

I’m always on the lookout for the best Sephora products to try, and whenever a Sephora sale comes around, I find myself more curious about what’s available. I typically focus on buying skincare, makeup, and hair care products.

If you’re wondering what to buy at Sephora, check out these products below!  All items are ones I personally tried and used. I’m a hard person to please so if I didn’t like it, it didn’t make the list.

Skincare Products

Here are some of the best Sephora skincare products you can get:

Youth To The People Superfood Antioxidant Facial Cleanser

  • 59.6k Loves
  • 4.3/5 (2916 reviews)

I haven’t found many holy grail products, and that’s true of my face cleanser. When I started following SkincarebyHyram on Youtube, he raved about the Youth To the People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser, not just for its incredible ingredient list, but for its ability to really deep clean the skin. When I saw I could try it for $10, I was stoked!

It smells great, works great, and comes in a glass bottle you can either repurpose or recycle with ease. As someone with oily skin, it’s important that a cleanser doesn’t strip me too much where I’m left feeling dry. This cleanser does a great job, and it’s worth checking out.

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

  • 316.1k loves
  • 4.6/5 (2162 reviews)

The AHA 30% + BHA 2% peel from The Ordinary is less than $8, but packs a bunch. I use it once a week and it helps keep my skin looking fresh. I don’t consider myself to have super sensitive skin, and I haven’t had a bad experience with this product. Highly recommend if you’re looking to get into chemical peels and you don’t want to break the budget!

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

  • 371.5k loves
  • 4.2/5 (3055 reviews)

Let’s be real, a huge appeal for The Ordinary products are its rock-bottom price point. But not only are the prices a steal, these are good products with good ingredients. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum is ideal for someone with oily skin and is looking to minimize sebum production, while looking to brighten dark spots. I’ve been using this for a while now, and it does a great job with keeping my oiliness at bay. This is a great product to add into your skincare routine.

Primera Clean Berry Lip Mask

  • 11k loves
  • 4.4/5 (550 reviews)

Nothing’s worse than using a lip moisturizing product only to find it does the opposite. I wanted one that has good ingredients and wasn’t outrageous in price. Enter the Primera Clean Berry Lip Mask. I’ve been using this for months and I still have product left! It keeps your lips nice and moisturized. The texture is on the thicker side which I personally like in a balm. A little goes a long way, which is great for making the product last. Worth every penny.

The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum

  • 48.3k loves
  • 4.5/5 (1016 reviews)

My morning skincare routine is simple: cleanse, apply The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid serum, moisturize, sunscreen, and I’m on my way. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant, meaning it pulls water from the environment and brings it to your skin. This helps keep the face hydrated and moisturized, which is key to long-term skincare success.

A little goes a long way with this product, and all you need is a dime-sized amount to keep your skin hydrated. It’s a great product to keep in rotation and you can’t beat the price!

Makeup Products

Some of the best makeup to buy at Sephora:

Fenty Beauty Full Frontal Volume & Lift Mascara

  • 39.4k loves
  • 4.0/5 (3119 reviews)
  • Colors: 3 options

Fenty really came and changed the makeup game, so when the Fenty Full Frontal Volume & Lift mascara dropped, I was so excited to try it. This doesn’t disappoint! What makes this mascara unique is the brush – one part is flat to help with length, and the other is round, to give you that volume. It leaves your lashes separated and fly, without leaving clumps. I think this might be one of the best mascaras I’ve bought at Sephora. A huge bonus for me is that it doesn’t get on my upper lid, either!

Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation

  • 96.7k loves
  • 3.5/5 (1692 reviews)
  • Shades: 50 options

The Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear foundation is the second foundation to drop from Fenty. Personally, I like it better than the original Fenty foundation (the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte foundation), mainly because this foundation leaves my skin with a more natural finish, whereas the soft matte foundation left me, well, matte. The color match with Fenty blows my mind. If you’re new to Fenty products, this is a great one to try out.

Sephora Weekend Warrior Tone Up Cream

  • 7.3k loves
  • 3.8/5 (46 reviews)
  • Shades: 7 options

I welcome tinted products in my minimal beauty routine. I also love when I can buy Sephora brand so I can save some coins. The Sephora Weekend Warriro Tone Up cream provides a sheer veil of coverage – just enough to cover up mild redness and discoloration – but without it feeling like a full foundation.

IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF 50+

  • 254.4k loves
  • 4.0/5 (3846 reviews)
  • Shades: 12 options

The IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream probably isn’t new to anyone at this point, but it’s one that I keep in my rotation because of how reliable it is. The coverage is great, and the SPF 50+ is a great bonus (but you should always wear a separate SPF)! At full price, it is a little steep. This foundation does blend nicely, so I don’t need to use a lot of product which helps me hold onto it longer.

Clinique Beyond Perfecting Super Concealer

  • 14.3k loves
  • 4.1/5 (225 reviews)
  • Shades: 18 options

When I decide to do a full face, I’ll reach for the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Super Concealer. It brightens like no other. What I learned the hard way was that a little goes a LONG way, which is great, since the size of the bottle can be misleading. It’s a good, staple concealer to have around. The coverage is impressive, and when set right, will last you all day.

Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow

  • 195.2k loves
  • 4.4/5 (4800 reviews)

I had received a sample of this from another Sephora order in the past and holy crap – this product is awesome!! I was using Glossier’s Boy Brow (which is still a great product in its own right), but the Benefit Gimme Brow just made my brows POP. It really defined my brows, and I was hooked. If you’re looking for a new brow product to invest in, I highly recommend this one!

Clinique Chubby Stick Lip Balm

  • 80.5k loves
  • 4.3/5 (2424 reviews)
  • Colors: 16 options

If you haven’t figured it out by now, I love tinted products. The Clinique Chubby Stick is the tinted balm of my dreams. It gives your lips a beautiful sheer color without them feeling dry in the process. With tons of colors to choose from, you can have a Chubby Stick for every occasion!

Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat & UV Protective Primer

  • 88.9k Loves
  • 4.6/5 (1741 reviews)

One thing I didn’t realize was so important for our hair is UV protection! The same way we should be using SPF in our skincare routines, it’s just as important to use protectant in our hair. I did some searching and found the Bumble and bumble heat & UV protective primer and I haven’t looked back since. Not only does this product protect your stands, but helps control frizz, nourish, detangle, and more.

Bumble and bumble Surf Styling Leave In

  • 6.7k loves
  • 3.8/5 (64 reviews)

Keeping up with the Bumble and bumble love, the Surf Styling Leave In cream is exactly what I needed. Firm enough to define and keep my waves intact, but light enough where my hair feels bouncy and like I just spent a day at the beach. The smell is divine, and I’m so glad this is in my routine!

Sephora Collection Eyes: Uncomplicated Brush Set

  • 54.4k loves
  • 4.6/5 (149 reviews)

At one point, I didn’t even have an actual brush set. I decided to invest in a set, and this Sephora brush collection didn’t disappoint. You get 5 brushes: an all over eyeshadow brush, Small shadow brush, Crease brush, Shader brush, and an angled liner brush. The quality is good, and they wash well (no fallout or weird feeling). The case itself is ok – it’s good to travel with since it has slots specifically for these brushes, but the magnetic closure is questionable. What I liked was that inside the case, there’s a little card that shows you step-by-step which brush to use and when (you know, for all of us non-beauty gurus).
